Anika Shah is a senior Architectural Studies major and a double minor in Studio Arts and Sociology. Anika is Pitt's current AIAS (American Institute of Architecture Students) Chapter President. She will be amongst the first from Pitt to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. At first, she was unsure which field to pursue in her studies at Pitt, but after much exploration, she decided that architecture was the perfect fit. In the summer of 2015, Anika traveled to both Paris and Prague, where she became fascinated by the influential nature of architecture and the experiences it evokes. She also traveled to Berlin this past summer to complete her architectural internship. After finishing her degree at Pitt, she will continue traveling and enter graduate school in the fall to obtain her master’s in architecture. At HAAARCH!!! 2018, Anika will be presenting her Design Studio 3 final project with her partner Jack Weinfeld.
