Emily Ebersol

Emily Ebersol is a sophomore Architectural Studies major working towards minors in Studio Arts and Museum Studies. She grew up in Rochester, New York, and has always been an interested in anything related to design. Emily is currently developing an independent research project that examines the ethics of museums’ collection and display practices involving African Art and how cultural identity is created or destroyed by these institutional strategies. She works as a curatorial researcher at Point Line Projects, a Pittsburgh-based editorial and curatorial agency for architecture and design, where she is working on an interactive exhibition that tells the largely unknown history of architects and designers advocating for a more diverse and inclusive profession. In the summer of 2018, Emily will work as an intern at Clark Patterson Lee, an architecture and engineering firm in Rochester.

At HAAARCH!!!, Emily will be presenting her Foundations Studio final project.
