Grace Meloy

Grace Meloy is a senior at the University Pittsburgh, double majoring in Architectural Studies with a Preservation Track and Civil Engineering. She has had the exciting privilege of studying abroad three times while at Pitt: to Peru, Prague, and Berlin. During her stay in Berlin this past summer, which was funded through the University Honors College Off-Campus Summer Research Award and the Fil Hearn Study Abroad Award, she gathered data for her thesis and cultivated her interest in the intersection between the materiality of the built environment and the theory of preservation. She will be pursuing a Master of Science in Historic Preservation this coming fall at University of Pennsylvania.

Grace is presenting the paper, "Circulation, Access, and Tourist Experience: Berlin's Center and Periphery as Case Study" at HAAARCH!!! 2014.
