Jack Weinfeld is a junior from Westchester, New York, majoring in Architectural Studies with a minor in Studio Arts. He began his formal architectural educationin high school through a series of electives, and was awarded a certificate for outstanding achievement in architecture upon graduation. Jack is currently enrolled in the Honors Design Studio 3, working on a sustainable housing development for Pittsburgh’s Strip District. This is Jack’s second time presenting at HAAARCH!!!. This year he is exhibiting his work from Design Studio 2. The design explores the dichotomy between lifeand death through program of a mortuary and animal rescue shelter atop Pittsburgh’s Mount Washington.
