James DiBitetto is a senior at the University of Pittsburgh. History of Art and Architecture is one of his three majors, along with Neuroscience and Economics. He is currently writing an honors thesis in both HAA and Neuroscience and plans to graduate with honors from all three of my majors. While at Pitt, his achievements have come from a variety of areas. For the past three years, he has served as a Resident Assistant, helping to mentor and protect students living in the residence halls. Last year, he received the honor of being one of only sixteen distinguished junior inductees of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. Furthermore, the Phi Beta Kappa advisors decided to award him the Edison Montgomery Junior prize for being the junior inductee most exemplifying their values of academic attainment and breadth. Recently, the Economics Department named James as one of only twelve Seniors of the Year in their department. After his graduation in April, James plans on getting a job in the business world and starting what he hopes to be a long career.
James will be presenting was the paper "Curating Minimalism at the Carnegie Museum of Art" at HAAARCH!!! 2014.
