Kaley Kilpatrick

Kaley Kilpatrick is a Junior at the University of Pittsburgh.  She is pursuing a History of Art & Architecture major, Italian and Museum Studies minors, and a Medieval & Renaissance Studies Certificate.  Kaley enjoys celebrating Italian tradition as an officer of the Pitt Italian Club, advocating for Pitt transfer students as a member of Tau Sigma Honor Society, and serving fellow HAA majors as a Teaching Assistant for Foundations in Art History.  After discovering her curiosity of museum work as a gallery attendant at the University Art Gallery, Kaley has had the opportunity to handle artifacts and to transcribe historic letters interning at the Meadowcroft Rockshelter & Historic Village Museum, to conduct docent tours for elderly individuals with dementia interning at the American Jewish Museum, and to assist in creating rare book exhibitions working in Hillman Library’s Special Collections.  Kaley is tremendously thankful for the opportunity to spend a week immersed in Italian culture with the Florence Cathedral Seminar as she is most interested in learning how art provides unique glimpses into the lives of compassionate individuals and cultures in history.
