Kevin is a senior at the University of Pittsburgh, where he is majoring in the History of Art and Architecture, and Architectural Studies, with minors in Studio Arts, and Museum Studies. During his sophomore year, Kevin made the switch from pre-med to the humanities and interned at the architectural offices of Murray J. Miller, while presenting at HAARCH for a collaborative installation piece constructed for Approaches to the Built Environment. In his junior year, he volunteered at the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, worked at the Andy Warhol Museum, and interned as a teaching assistant with the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts. As a senior he has interned as conservation assistant in the University Art Gallery, and as an educational programs assistant/research assistant studying regional artists and collections such as the holdings of the University Art Gallery, and the Heinz Historical Center’s holdings of artifacts from renowned Pittsburgh artist Virgil Cantini. He will be returning to the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts as camp supervisor this summer. Currently, aside from working on a biography of Virgil Cantini for the Pittsburgh Office of Public Art, Kevin is putting in efforts to build his curriculum vitae as an exhibiting artist.
