Madeline Schatten

Madeline Schatten is a sophomore Anthropology major who is also minoring in Museum Studies. While growing up in Pittsburgh she developed a passion for museums, especially the Carnegie Museums. Madeline spent the last summer studying abroad in Ecuador, where she studied ethnobotany. After she graduates in the spring of 2019, Madeline hopes to pursue a master’s degree in museum studies. 

Madeline will be presenting her work, completed with Patricia Smith and Isabella Sigado, studying visitors to the diorama Lion Attacking a Dromedary at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History.
