I am a sophomore pursuing a degree in Art History with minors in Studio Art and Museum Studies. I graduated with honors from Hempfield Area Senior High School in Greeensburg, PA. I'm interested in exhibition design and museum education, specifically with an interest in making contemporary art more understandable and less intimidating for the public. I work at the Carnegie Museum of Art in a program called ARTventures talking with children and families about art. I also intern at the Society for Contemporary Craft. Hopefully for the summer I will receive a research fellowship to study the affects of architectural space of museums and galleries on the way the viewer interacts with and understands the objects inside. In my spare time I like to spend time with my friends and giving them tours of museums – they seem to love this just as much as I do!
