Michaela Danko

Michaela is a senior at the University of Pittsburgh, majoring in Biological Sciences and Anthropology with minors in Chemistry and Museum Studies. After moving to Pittsburgh from Wyoming, she was able to explore her interest in museums and discovered the Museum Studies program with only two semesters left at Pitt. She is very interested in museum education and is currently interning in the Education Department at the Mattress Factory and volunteering at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History in the "Museum on the Move" program to the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. She also had a leadership role in the Fall 2014 Museum Studies Exhibition Seminar course and their exhibition Restrike: Uncovering the Life and Work of Gertrude Quastler. Her post-graduation life is currently open, but she plans on continuing her education in Museum Studies in the future.

At HAAARCH 2015, Michaela will be answering questions on the exhibition, the course, and the Museum Studies minor program in general.
