Rhianne Lowe

Rhianne Lowe is a senior architecture studies major with a Chinese and studio arts minor.  Before attending the University of Pittsburgh, she grew up in Turkey and then moved to Taiwan where she graduated from high school. Living overseas has been the most rewarding experience because it exposed her to many different people and places, which have been strong influences in her work. Her interest in architecture and the fine arts has led her to start exploring theatrical scenic design. Recently she was the lead designer for the University’s production of Agamemnon.  Her studies have familiarized her with a variety of methods to express her ideas. She believes one of the more rewarding elements was perspective drawing which led her to become a teaching assistant. Rhianne has also dedicated her extracurricular time playing on the Panther Women’s Rugby team.
