Rose Hawk

Rose Hawk is a sophomore from Charleroi, Pennsylvania, and a History of Art and Architecture major. She is especially interested in Pittsburgh’s art and history museums and the city’s wide variety of architectural styles. Rose’s interest in architecture started after taking a class in high school, where she designed and built a scale model of a two-story home. She is very interested in modern architecture and how the ideals of particular locations and periods have shaped the way that buildings have been designed, and after graduation, she hopes to begin a career performing research on buildings for landmark preservation.

Rose will be presenting her group installation from the class “Approaches to the Built Environment” with Gene Han, Alana Erwin, Brian Glatz and Jacob Gunderman.
