Wanyan Ma

Wanyan Ma is a junior majoring in History of Art and Architecture and Economics as well as minoring in Linguistics with Certificates in Asian and European Studies. She fell in love with art history in high school and has only become more enamored with it at Pitt.

Wanyan studied abroad in Cuba and Italy last year – both amazing, incredible experiences. Ask her about all the art she saw! She is also a Pittsburgher but is not very good at it.

For HAAARCH!!! 2019, Wanyan will be presenting her project for the Honors College’s THINK Research Fellowship, which looks at depictions of the cadaver in Western and Eastern art and medical illustrations. She gives a shout out to Professor Jennifer Josten.
