Waylon Richmond

Waylon S. Richmond is a Pittsburgh-born artist, musician, and young architect who is very active in the city’s cultural scene. He is a senior at Pitt, majoring in Architectural Studies. Growing up around practicing artists has made him appreciate how effective art can be very influential, and his concern for the environment makes his ideas both creative and highly relevant.

Waylon has worked in the field as an intern architect at Fisher ARCHitecture, and is currently employed at the Pittsburgh-based expandable housing company Module. His talents have already advanced his career, as he has headed projects in both positions. His lifelong practical experience in building construction, combined with his formal University training, has given Waylon a range of perspectives that will secure him a place in the green revolution of our generation.

Waylon will be presenting his entire undergraduate portfolio of design work with accompanying models.
