Caroline Fazzini

Caroline Fazzini is a senior majoring in the History of Art and Architecture and Studio Arts and minoring in Museum Studies. During her time as a student at the University of Pittsburgh, she has received the Archival Scholars Research Award as well as the Friends of Frick Fine Arts Research Award, which allowed her to travel to Los Angeles to visit the Getty Research Institute and exhibitions pertinent to her senior thesis. Additionally, Caroline has held internships at various art institutions including the Carnegie Museum of Art and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. At HAAARCH, Caroline will present part of her honors thesis research, which examines the collaborative capabilities of artists’ books within two feminist bookwork projects from the late 1980s and early 1990s.

After graduating this spring, Caroline will begin her position as a one-year Visitor Experience intern at Mt. Cuba Center, a public botanical garden located in Hockessin, Delaware. While there, she will contribute to Mt. Cuba Center’s first-ever interpretive planning process by assisting in the development of public programming, seasonal events, and on-site interpretation. Once her yearlong position ends, Caroline plans to attend graduate school to pursue a Masters in either Arts Education or Art History.
