Darien Pepple

Darien Pepple is a junior pursuing majors in the History of Art and Architecture and Anthropology with a Museum Studies minor. She interned at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History in the spring of 2017, where she designed and administered two audience evaluations for the Walton Hall of Ancient Egypt. Last semester, she began conducting her own research under the supervision of Dr. Erin Peters.

Madeline Schatten

Madeline Schatten is a junior at the University of Pittsburgh minoring in French, Mediterranean Archaeology, and Museum Studies. While growing up in Pittsburgh she developed a passion for museums, especially the Carnegie Museums. Madeline spent the last semester interning at the University of Pittsburgh Art Gallery, where she worked under the University Art Gallery curator Isabelle Chariter.

Anika Shah

Anika Shah is a senior Architectural Studies major and a double minor in Studio Arts and Sociology. Anika is Pitt's current AIAS (American Institute of Architecture Students) Chapter President. She will be amongst the first from Pitt to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. At first, she was unsure which field to pursue in her studies at Pitt, but after much exploration, she decided that architecture was the perfect fit.

Isabella Sigado

Isabella Sigado is a senior Art History major and Museum Studies Minor. She has previously served as the curatorial intern at the Frick Art and Historical Center as well as the Andy Warhol Museum, gallery intern at Morgan Contemporary Glass Gallery, Undergraduate TA for Special Topics: Museum Studies, and installation volunteer at the Boulder Museum of Modern Art. Currently, Isabella works at the Andy Warhol Museum as their Digital Engagement Intern.

Abigail Sites

Abigail Sites is a senior majoring in History of Art and Architecture and Anthropology, with a certificate in Russian and Eastern European Studies, specifically a concentration in Ottoman and Turkish art. During her time at Pitt, Abigail has held a variety of positions at museums in the area, including the Heinz History Center; the Fort Pitt Museum; and Fort Ligonier Museum.

Ben Tushar

Ben Tushar is an Architectural Studies major with a minor in Studio Arts, and is set to graduate in April, 2018. Ben came to Pitt as an Engineer, with a strong passion and background for developing and building things to solve problems. After being underwhelmed with the amount of physical creation in Engineering, Ben switched to Architectural Studies, with great success.

Marina Wei

Marina Wei is a senior graduating this spring with a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Arts and a minor in Museum Studies. She is currently focused on creating installation art that explores the topics of impermanence and nature. Along with creating installation art, Marina is working at the Mattress Factory as a museum educator. After graduation, she hopes to be able to continue along the path of museum education. Olivia Zielinski

Olivia Zielinski is a Junior from Nazareth, PA, majoring in Architectural Studies.  After completing two years in the Biology major, Olivia decided it wasn’t for her and dove head first into the Architecture program, changing her major to architectural studies without having any past experience.  After one semester, she was hooked!  Olivia plans on completing an internship in the summer of 2019 after spending more time within the major.  At HAAARCH!!!

Emma Vescio

Emma Vescio is a senior History of Art and Architecture major with a minor in English. She is interested in queer theory, relationships with objects, intimacy, definitions, personal archives, and time. Emma has held positions with Carnegie Museum of Art, Mattress Factory: Museum of Contemporary Art, Associated Artists of Pittsburgh, Bunker Projects, Silver Eye Center for Photography, and other Pittsburgh-based arts organizations.

Anna Kate Payha

Anna Kate Payha is a junior pursuing a major in Architecture with a minor in Studio Arts. When she started at Pitt, she didn't know what she wanted to study, but after taking Approaches to the Built Environment and Foundation Studio Anna Kate found that architecture is her passion. Last summer she interned for an artist in Portugal to explore her interests and broaden her experience. At HAAARCH!!!
